we had our drake family thanksgiving yesterday and part of the family went for a walk - - where we dodged a lot of goose poo on the sidewalks and charlie and colton ran through all the geese to scare them into the water.

my "just the right size" garage: if i run into the lawn mower with the front end, there are about three inches between the bumber and the garage door. (and it's probably a good thing that i'm not too big because there isn't a lot of room side-to-side, either.)

last year we had a beer fight, this year it was a t-rex fight. i'm not sure who won, but i'm leaning towards al.

there is still no "official" news to say that wally has been adopted, but he went for a home visit on tuesday and he's not back, as of yet. we must admit that we cried when he left us, but we are trying to think happy thoughts about a family having a new dog to love and to play with and to make up songs about. we love you walter and miss you like crazy!
